Lisa Clark, has been actively engaged in the training, teaching and development of yoga for over 30 years.

She has decades of serious study with the major teachers of our time and her classes reflect many years of study in classical Hatha Yoga including Iyengar, Kripalu, and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.

Lisa’s teaching approaches asana mindfully, gently and deeply — helping students to move beyond a formulaic approach to performing asana to embody yoga in a creative, authentic and life-nurturing way. Her comprehensive teaching is heart centered, with a deep knowledge of alignment and love of the human form in movement, and clear in the transmission of the underlying principles of yoga.

Lisa is ERYT-500 with The Yoga Alliance, an International Somatic Movement Therapist and Educator, and a Certified Teacher of Body Mind Centering. She is Program Director of the European Body-Mind Centering Yoga programs in Germany with Moveus and was Program Coordinator with Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen for The Yoga and Body-Mind Centering Programs at the School for Body-Mind Centering in Amherst, MA from 1999–2006.

She is the Founder, Developer, and Director of EmbodiYoga , a 230- and 500-hour advanced studies and teacher training program, and she has had the joy of teaching and sharing yoga around the world.
