| Jennifer began practicing yoga in 1998. Over the years her practice and study of yoga philosophy has grown into a way of life, including adopting a vegetarian lifestyle in 2003. She began teaching in 2006 after completing two levels of certification through YogaFit. Jennifer considers herself fortunate to have studied with Dharma Mittra, John Friend (Anusara), Desiree Rumbaugh (Anusara), David Swenson (Ashtanga), and Sharon Gannon (Jivamukti), who have all influenced her teaching. Her vinyasa (flow) style classes focus on the linking of breath and movement while paying close attention to alignment principles. She also includes music as a way to help clear the mind, tune into the body, and flow with the breath. Her full time job is being a Mom to daughter, Isabel, who was born in 2008. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, walking, ethnic restaurants, wine, and having coffee or tea with friends. |
